CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

This will be an in-person conference. Given the interactive nature of workshops, and other elements of the conference program, there will not be an option to attend virtually. 

What Does your Registration Include?

• Full participation in all sessions, including keynote presentations and workshops.
• Coffee Breaks and lunches during the conference program.
• Social Event: On the evening of Oct. 23, 2024, we will host an evening social event at the Museum of Anthropology, which is located on the UBC-Vancouver campus a short distance from the conference venue. Registrants and guests will have the opportunity to explore the museum and watch a performance. Appetizers will be available. Registrants can purchase tickets for guests, so the extended EDAC-ATAC “family” can join us. Adult tickets will cost $35, and youth tickets (ages 6-18 years) will be $15. Children under the age of 5 will have free admission.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Registration cancellations or revisions must be submitted in writing by email to registration@housing.ubc.ca. Cancellations received on or before August 22, 2024 receive a full refund minus a $35 administration fee. Cancellations received between August 22 and September 22 will be refunded at 50% plus a $35 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 22, 2024.

• All prices listed are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and do not include 5% Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• All registrations are subject to the conference Terms and Conditions.
• Payment is made through our secure online payment gateway via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).

Dietary Accommodations 

• We cannot guarantee accommodation of dietary considerations for registrations after October 11.

Getting to the Museum of Anthropology for the social event

• If you are walking from the Nest to the Museum of Anthropology (15 min. one-way), you can find a route here: Nest Catering & Conferences to Museum of Anthropology at UBC - Google Maps.
• There is a bus from the UBC Bus exchange beside the Nest to the Museum of Anthropology. From the UBC bus exchange, take the 68 Wesbrook Village bus and get off at NW Marine Dr at West Mall (stop 51925). • You may also call an Uber to get to the Museum of Anthropology.
